Seelampur, A town in East Delhi known for its congested population and small scale industries.Recently Seelampur was in news for its protest against the sealing drive of MCD.In a police firing some people were dead.
Manoj Bajpai is busy shooting for his next film ‘Jugaad’ says it is a real life story in the times of Delhi sealing told in a very humourous way.
“The film is based on Delhi sealing and is a humourous take on it,” says Manoj, who is known for his realistic portrayals in films like ‘Satya’, ‘Shool’ and ‘Tamanna’.
“It is the true story of none other than the producer of the film, Sandeep Kapur. He had an ad agency and during the drive in Delhi his office was sealed. We have developed his real life drama into a fiction and I have stepped into his shoes,” he explains.
But why it is called ‘Jugaad’? “Well, it’s all about the ‘jugaads’ that the man does with his friends to get back his office, so its title is aptly kept as ‘Jugaad’,” quips Manoj.
Manoj bajpai is busy in making of a movie on delhi sealing issue ‘Jugaad’ but I think filmmakers of ‘Jugaad’ forget the incident of Seelampur.
Seelampur has an important role on Delhi Sealing issue.I think Director of this movie must include the incident of seelampur in this movie.
