HC directed to MCD, DDA for submit records

The Delhi High Court today directed the MCD as well as DDA to submit records relating to the land and flats allotted to people in Kalkaji’s transit camp area, where the DDA recently started sealing flats on the ground of alleged misuse of properties by selling them off.

Questions raised over sealing drive by public

MCD claims Centre’s support against sealing

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi’s stand against the Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee’s directive to resume the sealing drive in the Capital’s unauthorised colonies has reportedly met with a favourable response from the Union Ministry of Urban Development.

Sealing drive at Kalkaji Extension

Sealing drive is under way at the Kalkaji Extension, the DDA’s Transit Camp Colony, adjacent to Govindpuri.
The colony has been simmering for the past fortnight after the residents were intimated of a court order to the DDA to evict them.
