DDA to present draft of Delhi Master Plan 2021
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will present a draft of Delhi Master Plan 2021.The agenda is expected to include mixed land use and shops in residential areas.
The implementation of the Master Plan of Delhi 2021 was discussed by the Delhi Cabinet .The DDA Board has extended the date of passing the plan till January 6.
A special Assembly session will be convened by the Delhi Cabinet this month to discuss the Plan and to amend the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act.
The special session will discuss the Master Plan before notifying it.A resolution was moved at the last Assembly session that the Master Plan Delhi-2021 would be discussed in the house before its implementation.
The DDA was also notified by the state government in this regard.
Four members of the Legislature Assembly (MLAs), who also happen to be members of the DDA Board, have expressed their unhappiness over their suggestions not being considered.
Mahabal Mishra and Jile Singh Chauhan, MLAs and Members of the DDA Board, among others, have expressed their unhappiness.
